By purchasing through me, you get an extended 6-month trial before you have to upgrade with Squarespace directly to make the site live.

If it's within 30 days of your purchase, no worries. Just send an email to Squarespace Support & they will refund it. Happens all the time. You can send the request here.

If you have a domain through Squarespace already, it is super simple to transfer to your new site. If your domain is through an external provider you will just have to change the DNS settings. You can read more about that process here.

The custom package includes 5 pages. This typically consists of the home page, about page, contact page and 2 other pages (such as a blog, shop, landing pages, etc.). I am happy to add more pages for an additional fee!

A custom logo design is not included in the Custom Package, but it is included in Full Brand Package. I also am happy to put together custom package based on your needs. If that is something you’re interested in, please contact me here.

One of the things I love about Squarespace is how user-friendly it is for the average person compared to some other platforms. While we work together on your project, I'll handle all the tricky things about getting your design perfect and make sure that you feel totally comfortable with using all your site's amazing features!

Whenever I design a site, I always make sure it is easy to maintain once it's live. All of your graphics will be custom Canva templates where you can easily drag and drop new images into place as your content changes over time and updating your website’s copy couldn’t be easier using Squarespace’s streamlined user interface.

While we're building your site, I am here to answer any questions you might have. After your project is done, I am happy to offer hourly paid support if you need assistance with something extra.

Also, Squarespace has great live chat and email support.

If you already have a Squarespace website, we can either put up a coming soon page while your site is being designed or you will need to copy and paste any existing content into your new trial website and then transfer your domain from your current site to your new site. It is possible to host more than one site on the same Squarespace account. Also, if you purchase through me, you get an extended 6 month trial period so you can take your time during this process.

All of my designs come with custom Canva templates! Canva is an incredible free online graphic design platform. In order to edit them, you will need to create a free account. Some templates may contain elements only available in Canva Pro, but don't worry! Canva offers a 30 free trial so you can have plenty of time to edit and download your graphics and then cancel your subscription before being charged. That said, Canva Pro is a great resource with amazing features so you might consider keeping it!

Nope! Canva is all that you'll need to edit your graphics.

It is not unusual for my clients to not have all the imagery that they need to flesh out their site on hand. I can definitely help you with that! I offer an optional add-on where I will source free stock imagery and mockups for you so that you can add beautiful imagery to your site without ever having to pick up a camera. Or I have the option to bundle your web design with my Branding Photography services so you can have a unique gallery of images tailored to you and your business to use on your website and elsewhere (social media, online advertising, etc.). Yes! When I start on your project, I dedicate all of my focus to making sure that your website is everything that you dreamed of. As such, once we sign your contract and book your design period, that means I do not book anyone else. I do have a strict cancellation policy and non-refundable retainer fee to make sure that we can have that time set aside just for you.

No knowledge of code is required for you to use your Squarespace site! Occasionally, I will add a feature or design element using some small snippets of code. That will already be inputted into your site when you receive it. I will also provide a document with the copy + paste code and instructions on how to add it for your reference.

You get a fully implemented and launched website, one-on-one website training for you to update your website, and all the custom graphic files.

I block out my projects to take place over a two-week design period (sometimes slightly longer if you choose to add on additional pages). Prior to starting you will need to fill out your Design Guide and prepare your content.

I will need all of your content (images, website copy, etc) before we can start. Once we sign your contract, you will receive my Design Guide which will walk you through the process and also includes a checklist of everything that you need to prepare. That needs to be completed one week prior to the start of your 2-week design period.

Alternatively, I can create a design using placeholder text and images. With my extended 6-month trials, that gives you plenty of time to add your text and images when you’re ready.

Yes! Squarespace offers a built-in, simple e-commerce store function for your website which you can add to any site. The Custom package includes the option for creating a custom shop page where I will define the structure of the shop and create 3 full product examples. Yes! Squarespace is amazing for blogging and really simple to use. Every Squarespace site comes with built-in blogging functionality.

Squarespace 7.1 is the newest version of Squarespace which has been streamlined to be even more easy to understand and navigate in the back end of the site. It also features Squarespace’s newest design function, Fluid Engine.

Squarespace 7.0 is the very popular version of Squarespace which was around for a long time before this newest release. It has some additional features not currently available in 7.1 and the ability to have a slightly finer level of control over the design without the need for code, but it is a little more complicated to learn and navigate in the back end. It is still widely used and supported by Squarespace.

If you go into the the left panel of your website, scroll down the bottom, and click on help you can find the version of Squarespace that you are using. If you are on 7.0 it will also tell you the name of the template that is currently active. Still having trouble? Check out this helpful video!

At this time Squarespace hasn’t given a “simple” transfer solution but don’t be discouraged, most people transfer with complete ease. You will have to copy & paste your content into the new trial site and then transfer your domain.

Yes, they do. However, people choose to work with me because they don't want their website to look like the other Squarespace websites out there. This way you get a site that stands out from the crowd!
