Branding Photography focuses on providing clients with imagery to uplevel their brand, tell their story and connect with their audience on a personal level to grow their business. It’s all about capturing who you are, what you provide and what makes your brand unique.

+ How can branding photography be used?

One of the things I love about branding photography is how versatile it is! You can use it on your website, your social media, your advertising, email marketing and so much more. Booking a session with me means you will recieve a commercial usage license allowing you permission to use the photos on your website and social media outlets. However, if a magazine, publication, or other brands/organizations would like to use the images they will have to contact me to purchase a separate use license.

+ What types of images are included in a branding session?

The exact types of photos vary from client to client, depending on your needs, but some examples of the types of images are headshots, lifestyle images, and product photography. I usually like to focus on capturing you, your workspace, creative process, tools of your trade and much more!

+ What is a brand video?

A brand video is a form of video content intended to promote a brand, company, product, or service. These videos can be either short-form and long-form and have the the aim of capturing the attention of the target audience while conveying the brand's narrative and message.

+ What are some examples of brand videos?

Overview videos: These videos offer a comprehensive introduction to the brand, emphasizing its mission, values, and key offerings.

Product videos: These videos spotlight specific products or services, illustrating their features, advantages, and distinctive selling points.

Testimonial videos: These videos feature customers or partners who share their feedback and experiences with the brand.

Culture videos: These videos grant viewers a glimpse behind the scenes, showcasing the brand's culture, team, and core values.

+ How can I use video in my marketing?

These days, video should be a major part of everyone's marketing strategy. Social media platforms have made a major shift in the past few years towards video content. In addition to performing well algorithmically, they also are a fantastic medium for engaging your audience. Outside of social media, you can also utilize video on your website, in your email marketing, and paid advertising.

+ How soon should I book my shoot?

If you are looking to book a full branding session or day shoot, I recommend booking about a month in advance to give us enough time to plan your shoot and arrange your location(s). If you are looking at one of my lower priced packages, I can sometimes accomodate those with less notice. You can [reach out to me][1] to find out my schedule!

+ What is your style of shooting?

I usually shoot light and airy but occassionaly will shoot light and moody if that works for my client's brand. I really like to work with natural light as much as possible and only rarely will use additional lighting during my shoots.

+ How do I find a space or location for the shoot?

Many of my clients have chosen to shoot outdoors or in their home or place of business. I have also done some shoots at hourly rental locations. During your planning process, we can discuss some different options that would work well for your shoot. Please note that any rental fee for a location will be your responsibility.

+ Do I need to provide my own props, wardrobe, etc.?

I have some props which you are free to use. If you require any additional props, I am happy to purchase those on your behalf and invoice you for the cost. Or, you are welcome to purchase and bring any props that align with our vision for your shoot on the day. In regards to wardrobe, I am happy to help you with planning your outfits and can recommend some resources for finding the perfect things to wear!

+ How long does it take to receive my images?

I guarantee delivery of your gallery 2 weeks after your session date. If you need them sooner please let me know and, if my schedule allows, I can put a rush on your photos for a small fee.

+ How long does it take to receive my video(s)?

This can vary depending of the scope of the project. Reach out to me fo a custom quote!

+ How do I receive my images?

I deliver your high resolution images using an online gallery straight to your email! All you have to do is download your photos within 6 months of your session date and you're good to go.

+ How do i receive my video(s)?

You will recieve your final video file via a google drive link sent to your email.

+ Do I have to credit you when using the images/video?

No! I don't require you to credit me when sharing your photos or videos, although it is always appreciated. If you would like to credit me on social media, you can write 'photo by: @vt_social'or 'video by: @vt_social' in your caption. I also love it when clients tag me in their post so I can see it! If you choose to use the photos/video on your website and wish to credit me, you can provide my name with a link in the footer of your site.
