Kate Franklin is an experienced fine artist who has had her work exhibited in juried shows in New Jersey, New England, and Missouri. She also has Taught Private Art Lessons and had a successful Wine and Paint Night Business. However, she reached out to me because she was looking to make a shift into event painting, specifically weddings. She was very passionate about the idea of creating a uniquely personal piece of art that depicted this life-changing day for a couple: where they were, the way they looked, and the way they felt all captured on canvas.

We spoke extensively while developing her branding about her ideal client: a luxury East Coast bride who loves fine art, particularly impressionist-style painting and who wants to invest in the really unique experience of having a live event painter who would capture a moment from the day on the day. we leaned into a soft blush and white Bridal color palette and for her logo we came up with a very classic monogram font for the ‘KF’ (Kate Franklin) and a more personal, handwriting font overlaid for the ‘color my wedding.’

Her website featured light and airy photography and different mockups of her previous paintings as well some custom graphics (like a quick facts slideshow for her about page) and little artistic brushstroke graphics sprinkled throughout.
