Owner, Jillian Shaw, reached out to me because Buttons and Bows, which had originally started as an 1,100 sq. foot resale Store for kids, had grown into a 3,800 sq. foot award-winning boutique specializing in both NEW and RESALE clothing, shoes, gifts, and accessories for women and children. She wanted to rebrand her business to reflect the change in her clientele, create signage for her new storefront, and get updated Branding photos of the Store’s interior.

Her previous Logo and Color palette had leaned into the children’s retailer aesthetic and Jillian and I decided to create a more refined logo that could grow with her as her business evolved. I ended up going with a classic design using a more modern sans-serif Font with white lettering and a brighter shade of blue to make it more attention-grabbing and readable for people driving by. We included a nod to her expanded client base by having one big, capitalized B and a smaller, lowercase b.
